Software which recovers data from damaged optical discs like DVD, CD and Blu-ray, caused by scratches and other issues.
AnyReader is software that can effectively copy corrupt data from any type of disks or faulty connections when standard copy methods fail.
The program is a wizard-based application. In the first few steps, it asks you what kind of operation you would like to carry out. There you select if you want to recover data from a CD, read a bad hard drive, etc. For each operation, you can customize the way the application will attempt to recover the selected files. You can set the number of attempts, you can set a pause between attempts and even skip sectors if a bad packet is encountered.
AnyReader can be used to recover files from damaged CD/DVD/Blu-ray discs and bad hard drives. It also has a nice file transfer utility that can be used to transfer data between two computers over a network (especially a WIFI network) when the connection is unreliable and copy errors are frequent. This mode can resume data transfers so you don't have to start over every single time.
Compatibility and License
This download is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from file recovery software and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The AnyReader 3.18 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the full version of this software.
What version of Windows can AnyReader run on?
AnyReader can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
